NMG awards 5,000 GEL to top-scoring national exam student

As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments, Nikora Management Group (NMG) has launched a new educational initiative to champion academic excellence.

The company awarded a 5,000 GEL cash prize to Anano Babunashvili, a standout student from Kutaisi who achieved maximum possible scores across every subject in the 2026 Unified National Examinations. Following her exceptional performance, Anano has enrolled at Kutaisi International University.

The official ceremony took place at the National Assessment and Examinations Centre (NAEC). Eka Machitidze, Deputy Director of the NAEC, joined David Urushadze, Deputy Director of NMG, to mark the occasion. Presenting the award on behalf of the company, Mr Urushadze underlined NMG’s dedicated strategy to support high-achieving students.

"For us as a responsible business, supporting education and motivating the younger generation are core pillars of NMG's corporate social responsibility strategy," said David Urushadze. "When a young person achieves such a remarkable feat, scoring maximum marks across the board, it deserves special recognition. This 5,000 GEL award represents an investment in her future and her ongoing academic journey. We want every talented and hardworking student to know that their efforts truly matter."

Ekaterine Machitidze, Deputy Director of the Assessment and Examinations Centre, also commented on the importance of corporate involvement in the sector:

"Business support for education, and for top students in particular, is vital," noted Ms Machitidze. "Initiatives like this offer real encouragement to young people, showing them that their dedication and accomplishments are recognised and valued by society."

NMG confirmed that the educational award scheme will continue in future years, offering ongoing encouragement to top performers in national examinations.
